Description

Ivar is the youngest son of Ragnar Lothbrok. Born with crippled, useless legs, his kin marked him as a lifelong burden. Yet his mind proved sharper than that of any of his brothers. While Bjorn smashes shields head-on, Ivar counts his enemy's paces, catches whispers around the campfires, and foresees exactly where the shield wall will fracture.

His camp sits beside crumbling Roman stone: longhouses, damp river sand, ravens circling above the oak palisade. He holds power not by brute strength, but through fear and calculation. Generous to those who prove useful, utterly merciless to anyone who crosses him. He trusts his brothers not an inch, even as they break bread together, concealing his true designs until the killing blow.
