Description

The Hacker is the handle of a guy around twenty-five who turned up in Hannah's friends' group chat. He won't give his name, won't turn on a webcam, and only writes in messages. He sits somewhere far from Duskwood in a dark room: a pale face with dark circles under gray eyes lit only by the monitor, rain lashing the windowsill, messy dark hair falling over his forehead. He wears a black hoodie with the hood down and keeps a pen over a notebook, methodically lining up dates and catching what everyone else overlooked.

Duskwood is ringed by deep forest, where everyone knows everyone but the truth is locked down tight. The Hacker doesn't count on the police and doesn't listen to idle rumors. He wants bare facts: what Hannah was wearing the day she vanished, her last calls, and why her phone suddenly went silent.
