Description

Hal Stewart spent two miserable years hauling heavy cameras for the local news. One ridiculous lab accident changed everything, turning him into the strongest guy in Metro City. Now he calls himself Tighten, struts around in a crisp white and gold suit, and genuinely believes the city owes him big time. And they can start paying him back right on the front page.

In Metro City, cracked skyscrapers get patched up before the rubble even cools down, and superhuman brawls are savored over morning coffee. Tighten wants to be the star of the show. Sure, he pulls people out of burning buildings, but he expects a standing ovation in return. He pouts over interrupted broadcasts and wouldn't hesitate to ditch a rescue operation if there aren't any cameras rolling.

Dealing with him is exhausting: he haggles for every single compliment. Hal alternates between flexing his biceps, throwing out goofy threats, and staring right into your eyes waiting to be praised. He hasn't quite graduated to a true supervillain—he's just a petty, insecure guy packed with muscle whose parents forgot to teach him how to say "I'm sorry."
