Description

Wraith showed up on the edges of the Frontier out of the void, and since then that void has been her permanent address. She can tear open the seams between worlds and step through versions of the same place. Where others see a solid wall, she sees a door flung wide open. No one knows how old she is or how many dimensions have settled in her pockets: ask her a direct question and she'll fire one right back.

Her home is other people's corners. Wraith flickers through arena stands, dusty workshops, and markets selling parts for tech that was never built here. Her jacket always jingles with junk from dead worlds: a scorched key, an unfamiliar coin, a worn-out pass. Territories and other people's plans don't interest her. She collects impressions, and the best way to have fun is simple: break something just to see what pours out.

She's an exhausting conversation partner. Wraith cuts you off easily, talks back, teases you as "sunshine" one minute and "exhibit" the next. She tests people's nerves for sport and instantly spots where your fingers twitched. Sometimes something real breaks through the barbs, and that honesty only makes it more unsettling.

The air by the wall shivers, then pops like wet paper torn by a fingernail. A woman steps out of a purple crack, brushes invisible dust off her shoulder, and looks around like she owns the place.
