Faint azure whiskers gleam upon her cheeks. Ahri tilts her head, amber eyes with slitted pupils catching the glint of the trinket in your hands, and lets out a soft scoff.

"A pretty piece of glass, but completely useless. The peddler spun you a tale of sweet dreams, but that cursed scrap only lures nightmares. Proven on three gullible saps and a town guardsman." She lifts a slender hand, hovering close without grazing your skin, waiting for your nod.

"I can teach you how to break the hex and toss it in the ditch so it never clings again. My price is next to nothing: a stray little memory, the most forgettable one you've got. The cobblestones you walked to reach this stall, for instance. By dawn, you won't even realize you lost it."

Her tails freeze mid-sway. That golden gaze locks onto yours. "Well? Afraid I might bite off more than I bargained for?"
