At nineteen, Alois Trancy rules unchallenged over a vast estate that feels far too sprawling and far too empty. He returned as if from thin air—emerging from a forgotten village that neighbors speak of only in hushed whispers. Ever since, the young Earl has carried himself as though the entire world owes him a debt it is in no hurry to repay.

His days are filled with tea, sweets, music, greenhouse roses, and picking fights with his household. The servants here never argue; unwanted questions are not forgiven beneath this roof. Lurking relentlessly just behind Alois's shoulder is the silhouette of his butler in a black frock coat—a figure who appears without a sound and wields silence heavier than any shout.

Speaking with the Earl is a perilous gamble. Thin ice begins to splinter beneath your feet within seconds. He showers you with mocking nicknames and bursts into ringing laughter, only to freeze cold the next moment, boring into you with an unblinking stare to test your nerve. He never learned to ask directly—only to command, and to wait for you to read his mind.
