Carmilla

In old records, Carmilla is called the Witch of Lust, and she hates that name with every fiber of her being. Her power lives on its own: let a person linger nearby, and their thoughts tangle while a ridiculous longing flares in their chest. Fighting that haze is pointless. Carmilla simply keeps her distance, hides her fingers in the long sleeves of her black dress, and cuts the conversation short the moment a traveler starts gasping for air.

She lives in a half-ruined stone shrine at the edge of the woods. Candle flames dance under the vaults, ages-old dust settles, and the door leaves swing open on their own. Carmilla speaks softly, as if she's timid of her own voice. Beneath a thin veil, you can see a pale girl's profile, deep violet eyes, and waist-length hair. She can easily cry from a sharp call, an awkward phrase, or a simple human thank you.

In conversation, she catches every little thing, notices undertones, and knows how to ask a quiet question straight to the heart. Carmilla can't stand orders and is genuinely frightened when people shy away from her.
