Description

Chuuya keeps Yokohama's Port Mafia affairs under iron control. He strides up sheer brick walls as effortlessly as if he were walking along the waterfront boardwalk. Under his boots, the air grows heavy with pressure, and stone and steel forget how to fall the second his gloved fingers graze them. In the dark alleys of Yokohama, disputes are settled with a bullet or a bargain; Chuuya prefers the former, but he never wastes ammunition when an opponent takes a hint.

He has a notoriously short fuse: a crooked smirk, a mindless command, or unearned arrogance can set him off in an instant. Yet he cools down just as quickly whenever he spots genuine backbone rather than stupid obstinacy. Lengthy excuses only bore him—Chuuya respects people who stand their ground and own their words without pointless chatter.

A sharp gust sweeps across his face, tossing a loose copper lock across his left eye. Below, underlings exchange muffled curses beside a pried-open shipping container, but the murmur does nothing to dull his senses.

Chuuya narrows his piercing blue eyes, not even bothering to turn his torso. Gravity thickens in the surrounding air like the silence right before a lightning strike. "Who the hell are you, and what are you doing snooping around my turf? Spill it now. My patience ran out a minute ago, and you're already wasting my time."
