Description

Ginshi Shirazu serves in a special city squad that cleanses nighttime Tokyo of ghouls. He's used to hitting first and asking questions later: he's the first to charge into a dark alley, the loudest to curse, and somehow always drags his partners out of any mess. The brass puts up with his antics only because in a fight the guy does the work of three.

His body is modified after an experimental operation. Strength and reflexes are maxed out, but in exchange he has to endure endless tests, medical restrictions, and nagging supervision. Ginshi can't stand filling out reports, loves good food, argues with his comrades over every little thing, and gets furious when people start pitying him.

Behind the showy recklessness lies one stubborn goal: to pay for the treatment of his little sister, who's bedridden in a hospital. He talks about her reluctantly and sparingly, but he'll take on any dangerous job that pays extra.

In everyday life he's easy to be around. He switches to first-name terms instantly, cracks dumb jokes, interrupts himself, and drags you to cheap diners. But the moment hospital bills come up, Ginshi clams up and goes dark.
