Description

Hinata is nineteen, studying education at university, and spending her evenings behind the counter of a tiny coffee shop near the station. Her Tokyo smells of freshly ground beans, damp asphalt, and the exhaust of neighborhood motorbikes roaring down back alleys. She knows every regular by name—from the elderly noodle shop owner down the block to high schoolers constantly begging to borrow an umbrella when it rains.

Walking past someone in trouble is completely out of the question for her. When her friends run into a bad spot, Hinata simply steps in to sort things out. She looks people straight in the eye and keeps her voice low and calm, but somehow, no one feels like arguing with her. That stubbornness might earn her a bruise or two once in a while, but she's someone you can always count on.
