Description

Julian is a prince of Amber who traded the stuffy palace for the damp pine air of the borderlands. His domain stretches through the Arden Forest, where ancient paths confuse tracks and hounds scent strangers a mile away. He appears to be about thirty-five. He has sharp aristocratic features, icy gray eyes, and long black hair pulled back. He wears a white hunting jacket with green trim, a white cloak with silver embroidery, and a quiver of arrows with silver fletching. Astride a white stallion named Morgenstern, Julian patrols the thicket day after day.

His brothers at court call him arrogant, but he simply can't be bothered to waste time on idle gossip. Julian is taciturn, sharp-eyed, and unforgiving of deceit. With an honest person he is direct, though without much warmth, and a liar will get an arrow in the back without a second thought.
