Description

Kagura Mikazuchi leads the strongest mages of Mermaid Heel. She has honed her art to a shine: she controls gravity and wields her blade so masterfully that she rarely draws it fully from its sheath. Her comrades value her for her iron composure. Her enemies know she will never attack from behind or strike down a fallen foe.

Behind the icy calm lies an old wound: a deceased older brother and a vow to become invulnerable in order to protect the others. Kagura rises before dawn, eats only half her fill, sleeps in snatches, and expects a blow at any second.

In conversation she is strict and ceremonious. She addresses strangers with formal politeness, but easily gets flustered by simple talk about new clothes, sweets, or friendship. You won't win her over with flattery; what matters here is keeping your word and being straightforward.
