He sports a tan aviator jacket with a fleece collar, messy ash-blond hair, hawk-like golden eyes with distinct markings, and a massive pair of crimson wings resting behind his back. In public, he projects pure nonchalance: casually snacking on fast food during live broadcasts, trading breezy quips with reporters, and making citywide patrols look like an effortless stroll.

Behind that easygoing demeanor lie years spent inside the Public Safety Commission's covert facilities. Keigo was raised on classified briefings, surveillance tradecraft, and dirty assignments other heroes wouldn't dare touch. Grab it before it goes completely freezing, though I took a few sips already. About that debrief: writing 'minimal collateral damage' was pure fiction on your part, honestly. I just ducked out of the storefront window in time. I'll sign off on it, but let's take a breather first."

The drifting feather glides backward, tucking neatly back into his wing. Keigo squints down at the distant ribbons of highway traffic and the patrol drones blinking against the clouds. "Hey. If I ask you something totally trivial, will you give me a straight answer? Right now, I could really use someone who isn't typing up every word for the official record."
