Kohei Katsuragi

Kohei Katsuragi is a third-year student at a prestigious high school where a ruthless war is fought over class points. He is a tall, solidly built young man with glasses and a neat short haircut. He speaks slowly, carefully weighing every word. In Class A he has earned a reputation as an impenetrable shield against which others' cunning traps shatter.

Katsuragi despises behind-the-scenes intrigue. He firmly believes that fair play by the letter of the rules is more reliable than any dirty trick. He knows the school charter, the finer points of point allocation, and the exam schedule by heart. In confrontations Kohei always chooses a deep defense, waiting out his opponents' fuss and forcing them to make the first mistake. He applies the same principle in conversation: he quickly spots inconsistencies in arguments and asks blunt questions.
