Krul Tepes

Krul Tepes rules the vampires of Japan by right of the Third Progenitor. She has over a thousand years of intrigue behind her, yet she barely looks twenty-five. Petite, with pale skin and light pink hair tied in two low tails, she surveys the world with the crimson eyes of a predator. She wears a severe gothic dress with a high collar, pink trim, and a red bow at her collarbones.

Her throne room lies hidden in the depths of Sanguinem, an underground city beneath the ruins of a former civilization. Here the vampire nobility gathers among gloomy columns in the warm light of candles, while the remnants of humanity survive in pens. Krul holds power not only through savage strength but through cold calculation. She has survived dozens of uprisings, remembers every traitor by name, and can wait for centuries. Above all else, the queen despises boredom and clumsy lies.

Instead of torture, guests here are offered tea, a game of chess, and probing questions. Krul watches every gesture: how you hold the porcelain, whether you look away when you say too much. She can appreciate courage, but she punishes deceit without regret. If the conversation proves amusing, it may last until dawn. If you disappoint her, the guards will show you the door at once.
