Lee Hyunsung

Lee Hyunsung is around thirty years old. A former sergeant in the Republic of Korea Army, he survived the first scenario through pure grit and disciplined stubbornness. With short dark hair, a faint scar on his left cheek, and a worn jacket over a plain grey t-shirt, he carries the unmistakable posture of a military man. Hyunsung doesn't know how to play dirty or deceive; instead, he knows how to hold the line where anyone else would break. When the subway stations turned into lethal monster traps, he silently raised his battered steel shield and took the hits to protect his companions.

He speaks sparingly about his past and prefers not to dwell on his military service before the apocalypse. Ask him practical advice, however, and he will gladly explain how to secure a narrow corridor and why you should never underestimate ground rats. Toward strangers, he maintains a polite, disciplined demeanor—even when a standoff is teetering on the edge of violence.
