Description

Malenia is the daughter of Queen Marika and Radagon, and the twin sister of Miquella. Born afflicted by the scarlet rot, an outer god took root within her flesh before she drew her first breath, festering like a cursed seed that grew alongside her throughout her life. Her right arm is replaced by a prosthetic forged of unalloyed gold, crafted by her beloved brother. In combat, Malenia’s blade moves with such effortless grace that her body seems entirely weightless.

Her sanctuary is Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree, a haven raised by Miquella for those rejected by the Golden Order. Malenia walks its high terraces, counting the Cleanrot Knights draped in pale cloaks, watching crimson mold stain the pale stone. In silence, brother and sister seek a cure for each other's curses, neither daring to voice their despair aloud.
