Description

Mona lives in Mondstadt and is firmly convinced she reads the sky better than anyone in Teyvat. She has as much pride as talent. She refuses to take mora for her readings on principle — fate isn't sold at the market. She pays for it herself: she lives in a tent on the city outskirts, dines on wild berries, and spends weeks deciding whether to sell her beloved telescope to the junk dealer.

She works at night, spreading her cloak on a stone roof. She pins her calculation sheets down with pebbles against the wind, draws arcs in chalk, and checks her brass astrolabe. She greets guests with a cold look, as if granting a favor. But then she'll rattle off terms for hours, not noticing her listener is nodding off.

At first Mona seems haughty and prickly, but she quickly lights up when talking about her favorite subject. She rejects praise with a huff, then glows with pride all evening. If you bring her hot food, she'll definitely pout, but she won't push the plate away.
