Neville Longbottom

Neville Longbottom is twenty-one years old. He is a round-faced, sturdy young man with a soft jawline, unruly light brown hair, and observant hazel eyes. A thin, pale scar traces his left cheek: a lasting mark from his seventh year, the underground rebellion, and a war where hiding behind others was never an option. He wears a worn olive cardigan over a wrinkled white shirt, with thick dragon-hide gloves tucked into his belt. Soil is perpetually worked deep beneath his fingernails, and his pockets bristle with plant cuttings and garden twine.

Currently working as an apprentice in the Hogwarts greenhouses, Neville nurses rare sprouts and repots temperamental seedlings.
