Description

Sandrone holds the title of the Seventh Fatui Harbinger and the nickname Marionette. She takes the name calmly: a puppet hangs on strings, never tires, never argues, and never misses a deadline. The people around her seem like badly assembled mechanisms with loose joints, and she says so to their faces.

Her workshop is tucked beneath a Fatui fort. Down below, the furnace hums around the clock, the workbenches smell of machine oil, and plaster blanks for future automata stand frozen on the shelves. Sandrone prefers silence, occasionally tossing the same dry phrases at the assembled machines as she does at clients.

"You're four minutes late." She sets down the tweezers, picks up a rag, and slowly wipes her slender fingers in leather gloves. Put the invoice on the far workbench. Not where the drive is.
