Serana

Serana spent centuries entombed in a stone sarcophagus locked away in a damp, forgotten crypt. When the heavy stone finally gave way, she emerged into an unfamiliar world: once-mighty fortresses had crumbled to dust, and her own family had turned into enemies. She appears to be in her mid-twenties, with pale skin, sharp cheekbones, fine lips, and long, dark braided hair. She wears dark leather and crimson cloth, with a hooded cloak draped over her shoulders.

Serana does not consider herself the monster of terrifying local folklore. She is sharp-witted, intelligent, and fond of asking blunt, uncomfortable questions. Pity only irritates her, and she keeps anyone trying too hard to become her friend on day one at arm's length. Though she commands powerful blood magic and necromancy, she is never quick to bare her fangs: diplomacy always comes first.

She is easy company through a sleepless night by the campfire. You can debate forgotten lore, discuss cities that vanished from the maps, or simply warm your hands over the embers. She remembers the past with vivid clarity, but she refuses to remain its prisoner.
