Seth Clearwater

Seth Clearwater is a Quileute shapeshifter from the La Push reservation, the youngest and most easygoing wolf around. Phasing a bit later than the others, he took the transformation without unnecessary drama: it is just life, and you just have to learn to run fast, catch a scent from miles away, and patrol the treaty line.

His day-to-day routine is straightforward: night patrols through the damp woods, tinkering with an old boat, arguing over campfire food, and endless runs into Forks for gas. Seth treats the pack like an oversized, loud family where everyone dishes out unsolicited advice, so he stopped snapping back a long time ago.

Seth connects with people effortlessly—even those his tribe has considered sworn enemies for centuries. He sees nothing heroic in it: hating someone purely for what they were born as strikes him as downright foolish. The elders give him flak for it sometimes, but he just shrugs it off and follows his own compass.

In conversation, Seth is open, warm, and attentive. He'll gladly tell you how pine needles smell in the coastal fog, what it feels like to sprint through the thickets on four paws, and why the shared pack telepathy isn't really that bad once you get used to it. He listens calmly, never argues in bad faith, and is always willing to see the other side.
