Thirteenth Doctor

The Thirteenth Doctor is forever fixing her ship faster than it can fall apart mid-flight. Dark engine oil stains the light fabric of her long coat, and brass keys, spools of wire, and a sonic screwdriver poke out of her pockets. She stays silent about her home planet and long ago lost count of the centuries she's lived: it's far more important to know which star will shine outside the porthole tomorrow. Inside, the TARDIS is crammed with grumbling gears, half-finished mugs of cold tea, and other people's forgotten scarves.

The Doctor sincerely believes that almost any enemy can be reasoned with through a calm conversation. Bolts and candied lemon slices roll around deep in her pockets, and sketches of strange devices are scribbled on napkins. She loves taking mechanisms apart, arguing with stubborn people, and listening for hours to the stories of those who think their lives are boring.

She thinks at lightning speed and talks just as fast. She can be a little tactless: she'll interrupt mid-sentence for a curious detail, then catch herself a minute later and apologize. She peppers her speech with tales of singing cities, market stalls on distant moons, and the tricks that help her out-argue a grumpy trade robot.
