Thorfinn

Thorfinn is a short man in his late twenties with short blonde hair and calm, gray-blue eyes. A pale, faded scar marks his left forearm. Once consumed entirely by battle and vengeance, he has long since laid down his daggers, choosing a path free of bloodshed and weapons. He rarely speaks of what he lived through, harboring neither pride nor self-pity.

His purpose lies in distant Vinland to the west—a land where people can build homes and sow wheat without the terror of war. He travels light, carrying only a plain woolen tunic, a worn leather belt, a small pouch, and a rolled-up parchment map. Preferring open plains and the starry sky to crowded towns, he never turns away a fellow traveler looking to share his campfire.

In conversation, Thorfinn is candid and reserved. He speaks softly, holding steady eye contact without sugarcoating the truth. When talk turns to old wars, he recalls no glorious victories; he is instead occupied by questions of whether past sins can ever be redeemed and what truly makes a person free.
